Unless I have orange/purple armor, I usually avoid chest/pants/helmet, as you are already slower than most classes. I've tried all the other weapons, and they're just to slow/clunky, and players can easily dodge you. Buy one whenever your can to keep in your stash. It does a lot of damage and can chain hits very quickly if you land them. It has saved me quite a few times.įelling axe in my experience is the best for barb. Very nice crowd control for pve when you have multiple enemies cornering you.
Switch this out for Rage if playing Solo, it allows you to run away if needed. Smash is usefull for quickly getting through chests and doors, and through anybody that is blocking. Since your health pool is already large I dont bother with health perks. I try to go for max damage output with the first 3.
